TD SYNNEX Catalyst: CodeLeap Is an Initial AI Services Partner

Electricity pylons and overhead lines against a pink and blue sky at dusk Need AI delivery behind you?

TD SYNNEX Catalyst gives the company’s network of technology resellers on-demand access to AI services partners. CodeLeap is one of the initial partners named on TD SYNNEX’s Catalyst Partner Services page. This post explains what Catalyst is, how we came to be part of it and what we bring.

It is written for IT resellers in the TD SYNNEX network first, and for businesses who meet us through a reseller second. We cover the four delivery stages, three public case studies, when to bring us in and how to start.

Key takeaways

  • Catalyst is TD SYNNEX’s programme for putting AI delivery capability behind its resellers, so they can position AI projects knowing a partner can build, integrate and support them.
  • CodeLeap is one of the initial partners named on that page. We cover computer vision, machine learning on large datasets, and projects built on large language models, including AI agents.
  • Catalyst describes four stages: assessment, consulting, proof of concept, and development and deployment. We work at each of them.
  • We start small, with a simple proof of concept at the lowest budget that answers the customer’s question.
  • If we are not the right fit for a customer, we say so on the first call.

What is the TD SYNNEX Catalyst programme?

Catalyst is a services programme for resellers. TD SYNNEX connects them with “a curated ecosystem of expert service providers specializing in LLMs, computer vision, data science, and intelligent automation”. It says the partners’ work runs “from chatbots and copilots to document intelligence and edge inference systems”.

The work is organised into four delivery stages, which we cover below. TD SYNNEX says the services are “available as white-label, co-branded, or referral-based engagements that enable rapid go-to-market activity”. It also says Catalyst partners “plug directly into the Destination AI enablement engine”, which is TD SYNNEX’s AI programme for its partners.

Why TD SYNNEX built Catalyst

TD SYNNEX names a problem resellers know well. In its words, “many resellers face a common roadblock: they can position AI solutions but lack the in-house capability to build, integrate, or support them.” Catalyst puts that capability behind the reseller.

“We designed Catalyst to remove hesitation from the AI conversation,” said Evan Unrue, EMEA Chief Technologist for Data, AI, and Applications at TD SYNNEX.

That hesitation is easy to understand. Proposing an AI project is one job and delivering it is another, and the second needs people who have built these systems before.

How CodeLeap became a Catalyst partner

We were introduced to IMS CAD in late 2023. TD SYNNEX says it works with IMS CAD, “an Nvidia Service Delivery Partner”, to administer the programme. In late 2024 we began working with TD SYNNEX’s EMEA AI team on the programme, and in 2025 TD SYNNEX named the initial partners.

The page says they include Itransition, CodeLeap and MercuryLabs, “each selected for their proven track records in delivering scalable AI projects across enterprise and mid-market customers”. Those are TD SYNNEX’s words about the three of us.

What we bring at each of the four stages

TD SYNNEX lists four stages. The table matches each one to our published services.

Catalyst stageWhat we bring
AssessmentAI readiness assessment
ConsultingChoosing the approach and the cloud
Proof-of-ConceptFeasibility study or data review
Development & DeploymentA build in one of three areas

Assessment. TD SYNNEX describes this stage as “AI readiness evaluations, opportunity framing, and data audits”. Our AI readiness assessment is a one-week programme that maps a customer’s data, workflows and team skills and ends with a proposal of estimated ROIs. It also gives an honest verdict where AI is not worth it.

Consulting. TD SYNNEX lists “Solution ideation, stakeholder alignment, and architecture design”. Here the work is choosing the approach: whether the problem suits computer vision, machine learning or a large language model, and where it should run. We usually build on AWS and work with other clouds when the customer already uses them.

Proof-of-Concept. TD SYNNEX lists “Rapid AI prototyping and ROI validation”. We start small. A simple proof of concept at the lowest budget that answers the customer’s question comes before anyone commits to a full build. Our guide on what a proof of concept is explains how it differs from a prototype and an MVP.

In our computer vision work this stage is a feasibility study that tests a model on a sample of the customer’s own images. In machine learning it is a data review that trains and scores a first model on the customer’s data. For LLM work, a first AI agent takes on one scoped job inside the customer’s existing tools.

Development & Deployment. TD SYNNEX lists “Production-grade delivery, integration, and handover”. Three public case studies show our work in each area. They come from our own client work, not from projects delivered through Catalyst.

  • Computer vision. The vehicle imaging platform pairs iOS and Android capture apps that guide each shot with a custom computer vision model that locates the vehicle and its features. It replaces backgrounds, checks every image automatically and runs on infrastructure handling millions of images a year.
  • Machine learning. The market prediction platform turned a financial analysis firm’s chart-reading method into supervised models trained on the analyst’s own labelled history. It has a daily pipeline, accuracy validated indicator by indicator and an API.
  • LLM automation. For the energy broker SBU, the sales cycle automation is a headless layer across Salesforce, an LLM and the client’s email. An 85% confidence threshold decides what runs automatically and what waits for a person. Within three months the team was generating five times the qualified leads, without adding headcount.

When should a reseller bring CodeLeap in?

Three situations suit us well:

  • The customer wants to validate an idea before committing resources.
  • The customer has an unusual computer vision problem.
  • The customer wants LLMs to take on tasks people do by hand today.

We are not tied to one sector. Past projects include health and wellness, finance, and property and construction. If a customer’s problem sits outside our three areas, we will say so.

How to start

The first step is to book a meeting. We say straight away if we are not the right fit. It helps to bring the timeframe, the rough level of investment and what the customer wants to validate.

If the customer is not sure where AI would pay off, an AI readiness assessment is a sensible first stage. For the programme itself, including how engagements can be white-label, co-branded or referral-based, TD SYNNEX’s page is the reference.

Frequently asked questions

What is the TD SYNNEX Catalyst Services Partner Program?

It is TD SYNNEX's programme for giving its network of technology resellers on-demand access to AI services partners. Resellers position the AI solution, and the partner builds, integrates and supports it. Partners cover large language models, computer vision, data science and AI automation. IMS CAD administers the programme, and CodeLeap is one of the initial partners named on TD SYNNEX's page.

How does a reseller bring CodeLeap into a customer's AI project?

Book a meeting with us, and we say straight away if we are not the right fit. If we are, we usually suggest a simple proof of concept at the lowest budget that answers the customer's question, before anyone commits to a full build. How the programme itself works for resellers is set out on TD SYNNEX's Catalyst page.

Can Catalyst engagements be white-label, co-branded or referral-based?

TD SYNNEX says Catalyst services are available as white-label, co-branded or referral-based engagements, aimed at rapid go-to-market activity. That is TD SYNNEX's description of the programme. Which model suits a particular customer is something to talk through with us on a first call, and we will say if we are not the right fit.

What should I bring to a first call with CodeLeap?

Bring the timeframe, the rough level of investment and what the customer wants to validate. Tell us which cloud the customer runs on. We usually build on AWS and work with other clouds when the customer already uses them. We are not tied to one sector, and past projects include health and wellness, finance, and property and construction.
