Insurance claims platform
A client partnered with CodeLeap to build and run the platform behind its claims operation — notification, triage, external assessment, decisions and the repair work that follows — all in one place, replacing a patchwork of separate tools.
What we did CodeLeap is the development team behind a long-running claims platform — notification and triage, external assessment, decisions and a repair-network module — running an ongoing programme of features, refactors and bug fixes.
Every claim our client receives passes through notification, triage, an external assessment and a repair stage before it is closed. Coordinating that across separate tools was slow and easy to lose track of. They partnered with CodeLeap as their development team to build a single platform for the whole journey, and to keep extending and refining it.
What we built
-
Notification, triage and assessment
Claims arrive through the platform, the team triages each one and puts it in front of the right external assessor, and assessments come back against structured forms — each claim moving through a clear set of stages so nothing stalls unseen in an inbox.
-
Repair network and supplier tracking
Once the work is authorised, a dedicated module tracks it out to the repair network — the outside suppliers carrying each job out, and where every one of them has got to.
-
Role-based accounts and permissions
Everyone who touches a claim signs in to a view built for their job, with access enforced on the server rather than just hidden in the interface.
-
Dashboards and reporting
Managers get dashboards on volumes and outcomes, and can export the figures behind them for reporting outside the platform.
Why this matters to you:
The result is one system that carries a claim from the moment it is notified to the moment the work is signed off, with assessment, decisions and supplier work joined up instead of scattered across email and spreadsheets. CodeLeap continues to develop and maintain the platform, so it changes as the operation does.
