Fintech software development for founders and finance teams — open banking apps, ML that reads chart patterns, market-data platforms. We're strict about what AI decides on its own.
Solutions we've built power teams at:
Money apps, trading models and the back-office grind behind them — the four kinds of build we're brought in for most often.
We're the development team behind Bonsai, a UK wealth-planning app — planning tools, open banking connections and premium subscription tiers, built and shipped across Android and iOS sprint by sprint. If you're a founder with a consumer money product, that's the shape of the engagement.
For a financial analysis firm we turned a hand-run charting method into supervised machine-learning models — trend patterns and oscillators read automatically, accuracy measured per indicator against the analyst's own labels, and predictions served through an API their own products can build on.
We build reconciliation automations that match transactions across bank feeds, payment providers and your accounting platform, then queue the exceptions for a person. Month-end stops being a week of copy-and-paste, and the figures in the report are the ones actually in the ledger.
We build client onboarding flows that collect documents, run identity and KYC checks through established verification providers, and record every step — so new customers get through in minutes and there's a clean audit trail when your compliance team, or the regulator, asks for one.
Two finance builds plus the closest neighbouring automation: Bonsai's wealth-planning app with open banking; a market-prediction platform whose supervised models label chart patterns straight into the trader's own spreadsheet; and a contract-to-invoicing automation that raises hundreds of invoices a month from deal data — the kind of reconciliation work finance teams lose days to.

The enthusiasm, understanding of our mission, and passion from the first few minutes of the call were the deciding factors in choosing CodeLeap. Within 3 months of our app launching, we had over 1,500 downloads, appeared in leading publications from Forbes, The Metro, Marie Claire, Women's Fitness and many more, and started raising further investment.
They are incredibly diligent in the quality of work they produce, and go above and beyond when it comes to solving issues faced within the project, and to ensure we meet strict project deadlines. You never feel like you are one of many clients, and they ensure they are always there to help with any need you have, no matter how big or small.
CodeLeap made me feel like my options were limitless in terms of what could be achieved, which was critical to me as we were creating something very unique. I'm glad I chose Codeleap over a large corporation as the personable approach resulted in a smooth and pleasant experience.
Working with CodeLeap was a very good experience from both a professional and personal point of view. These people know what they are doing and are both efficient and clever and made a good partner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CodeLeap.
CodeLeap adds so much value and goes above and beyond what I expected. CodeLeap's team is very flexible with all the different requests we've put in front of them. They've also been great with the whole business side of things, and being able to forecast for this industry is really helpful. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with their work — they've been incredibly helpful.
Their flexibility and focus on quality were outstanding.
Marcelo has been wonderful throughout the process and we are very happy.
Absolutely FANTASTIC. This is very much what I had in mind. We're very pleased with your team, thank you all very much.

Yes. We built the open banking connections in Bonsai, a UK wealth-planning app, so its planning tools draw on real balances rather than figures typed in by hand. We deliberately design that layer to be provider-agnostic — built so you can move between providers as pricing or your regulatory position changes, instead of being welded to whichever one you started with.
Not to start. Design, the core product and internal tooling can all move while your authorisation or partnership route is still being worked out. We're a software team, not a regulatory consultancy — the FCA side sits with you and your advisers. Our job is to build so nothing needs rewriting once your position settles, which is how we approached Bonsai's open banking layer.
That's exactly what we built for a financial analysis firm: supervised models trained on their analyst's own labelled history, reading trend patterns, moving averages and oscillators. The honest part is the measurement — we score the model against the analyst's own labels, indicator by indicator, so you know where it matches an expert and where it doesn't before anything depends on it.
With a contract, and by habit. We'll sign an NDA before you tell us anything, and once the work is delivered and paid for, the code and IP are entirely yours — you're not licensing your own strategy back from us. The market-prediction platform in our portfolio is written up without the client's name — that's deliberate.
Yes — that's the scale of scoped automation our projects start at, from £5,000 with the price fixed before work begins. Typically the matching runs automatically across your bank feeds, payment providers and accounting platform, and a person reviews only the exceptions instead of hunting them in a spreadsheet. And if an existing reconciliation tool already fits your process, we'll say so.
No, and you probably shouldn't. Our market-prediction build started exactly there: an analyst hand-labelling trend patterns and oscillators in Excel every day. The supervised model we built makes those readings and fills in the day's directional labels in the same sheet — the spreadsheet stayed, the manual typing went. Good software meets your working files where they are; replacing a spreadsheet a team trusts is often the wrong first move.
A small, experienced team of designers, engineers and problem-solvers working closely with you from first idea to final delivery.
