Computer vision, proved on your data first

Visual inspection, OCR, object detection and video analytics from a computer vision company — a feasibility study from £4,000 measures accuracy on your images first.

Solutions we've built power teams at:

Every step, with a team who's done it before

Every computer vision pitch arrives with an accuracy number attached — before anyone has seen a single one of your images. We do it the other way round. A feasibility study measures the model on your own photos first, so the decision to build a vision system rests on evidence, not a demo reel.

  1. Discover

A free first call to pin the visual job down — defect spotting, OCR, counting objects on video, checking photos meet a standard — and whether it's one a camera can honestly judge. Where a task needs judgement beyond the image, we draw that line and say so.

  2. Feasibility study

Over 2–3 weeks we test a model on your own images and report the accuracy it actually hits, whether you have enough data, and the ROI against today's costs — ending in a plain go or no-go rather than a promised number. Fixed at £4,000.

  3. Build the system

If the numbers justify it, we train and tune the model on your data, connect it to your cameras and workflows, and route low-confidence frames to a person. From £25,000 — and the model, pipeline and code are yours once paid for, not rented back.

  4. Keep it accurate

Cameras move, lighting changes, products get redesigned — so accuracy is monitored in production and the model retrained when it drifts. And if the study says no, you've spent £4,000 to avoid a build that wouldn't have worked.

Where cameras meet operations

A multi-year vehicle-imaging pipeline — automated background removal, 360 spins and QC at scale — alongside field tools that capture visual data on site: snagging photos across thousands of defects, and a prototype iPad app for drawing measured floorplans.

  • Vehicle imaging platform

An end-to-end vehicle imaging platform for a company in automotive photography. CodeLeap built the capture apps and the computer-vision pipeline that removes backgrounds, builds 360-degree spins and checks every image automatically.

  • WeSnag

A large London-based construction company managing major residential sites — dozens of contractors, thousands of defects — came to CodeLeap for a digital snagging platform. Within 6 months, we delivered a fully functioning mobile app that reduced human errors and accelerated the snagging process for construction managers.

The tech

The vision stack we've actually built with — models, pipelines and the honest caveat that accuracy gets measured on your data first.

  • OpenCV

We've built production vision pipelines with OpenCV — background removal, rotation and padding running on real commercial imagery.

  • TensorFlow & PyTorch

Our models are trained in TensorFlow and PyTorch — frameworks we've shipped with, chosen per problem rather than by fashion.

  • CoreML

We've shipped CoreML models running on-device — vision that works on the phone in someone's hand, no signal required.

  • Python

The ingestion, QA and retraining pipelines are Python — the same stack as the rest of our shipped machine learning work.

  • AWS Lambda & S3

We've built imaging pipelines on AWS Lambda and S3 that process photography at scale — serverless because volume arrives in bursts.

  • OCR

Reading text from labels, documents and meters is often the highest-ROI vision job — and the least glamorous.

  • Human review

Low-confidence frames route to a person — a vision system that admits uncertainty is the only kind worth deploying.

  • And much more

This is what comes up most often, not a limit. Bring us something that isn't on this list and we'll get up to speed on it — working with something new is the job, not an obstacle.

What our clients are saying

Real reviews from clients we have delivered for, on Clutch and elsewhere.

  • The enthusiasm, understanding of our mission, and passion from the first few minutes of the call were the deciding factors in choosing CodeLeap. Within 3 months of our app launching, we had over 1,500 downloads, appeared in leading publications from Forbes, The Metro, Marie Claire, Women's Fitness and many more, and started raising further investment.
    Charlie CEO, Becon
  • They are incredibly diligent in the quality of work they produce, and go above and beyond when it comes to solving issues faced within the project, and to ensure we meet strict project deadlines. You never feel like you are one of many clients, and they ensure they are always there to help with any need you have, no matter how big or small.
Amelia Parmiter Marketing Manager, AWS - Marble
  • CodeLeap made me feel like my options were limitless in terms of what could be achieved, which was critical to me as we were creating something very unique. I'm glad I chose Codeleap over a large corporation as the personable approach resulted in a smooth and pleasant experience.
    James CEO, Bearable
  • Working with CodeLeap was a very good experience from both a professional and personal point of view. These people know what they are doing and are both efficient and clever and made a good partner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CodeLeap.
    John CEO, Neurometrics-Diab
  • CodeLeap adds so much value and goes above and beyond what I expected. CodeLeap's team is very flexible with all the different requests we've put in front of them. They've also been great with the whole business side of things, and being able to forecast for this industry is really helpful. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with their work — they've been incredibly helpful.
    Johanne CEO, Cherry
  • Their flexibility and focus on quality were outstanding.
    Mike Fenna CTO, Kite Insights
  • Marcelo has been wonderful throughout the process and we are very happy.
    Amrit Director, Energy Company
  • Absolutely FANTASTIC. This is very much what I had in mind. We're very pleased with your team, thank you all very much.

Any questions? We're here to answer

Everything you might want to know before starting a project with us.

  • Anything a person does by looking, repeatedly: visual inspection and defect spotting, reading documents (OCR), counting and tracking objects on video, checking photos meet a standard before they're used. If a task needs judgement beyond the image, that's where we draw the line — and we'll draw it honestly.

  • We won't promise a number before seeing your data — anyone who does is guessing. The feasibility study exists to measure accuracy on your images first, so the decision to build rests on evidence, not a demo.

  • A feasibility study starts from £4,000 and takes 2–3 weeks — it proves the model works on your data and gives you accuracy and ROI you can trust. A production build starts from £25,000. Both are fixed-price.

  • It depends on the task, and that's the first thing the study establishes. Usually it's images or video you already generate — inspection photos, scans, camera feeds — and part of our job is telling you whether you have enough of them.

  • You do. Like everything we build, once delivered and paid for, the model, the pipeline and the code are yours — not rented back to you.
