Document automation, guided client intake and secure portals for law firms and professional practices. AI drafts, sorts and routes — a qualified person signs off.
Solutions we've built power teams at:
Four systems that take on a practice's two big time sinks — the client-facing steps that generate admin, and the document work that eats fee-earner time.
First contact usually means a call, a form and a week of email before a matter is properly opened. We build step-by-step intake flows that turn legal requirements into questions anyone can answer, so every matter arrives as a complete, structured record — the pattern behind MediationX's dispute intake.
Engagement letters, precedents and client documents assembled from structured answers instead of retyped, then executed digitally. For Gemdarr's online will platform we orchestrated the whole DocuSign flow — inviting witnesses, tracking every signature and completing only once everyone has signed.
One private place per matter instead of a long email trail. We build portals where each party joins by invitation and sees only their own case, while your team runs disputes, documents and access requests from a single admin panel.
AI that drafts responses, summarises documents and keeps matters moving — inside boundaries your practice sets. On MediationX the assistant's behaviour is driven by prompts mediators can tune themselves, and they stay in control of every case.
Two legal builds and the closest neighbouring automation: Gemdarr's online will platform, with DocuSign signing and witnessing handled end to end; MediationX, an AI-assisted mediation platform with guided intake and firm limits on what the AI handles alone; and a document-and-contract automation that detects a signed contract and drives the paperwork and invoicing from it — the same e-signing and document plumbing a professional practice runs on.

The enthusiasm, understanding of our mission, and passion from the first few minutes of the call were the deciding factors in choosing CodeLeap. Within 3 months of our app launching, we had over 1,500 downloads, appeared in leading publications from Forbes, The Metro, Marie Claire, Women's Fitness and many more, and started raising further investment.
They are incredibly diligent in the quality of work they produce, and go above and beyond when it comes to solving issues faced within the project, and to ensure we meet strict project deadlines. You never feel like you are one of many clients, and they ensure they are always there to help with any need you have, no matter how big or small.
CodeLeap made me feel like my options were limitless in terms of what could be achieved, which was critical to me as we were creating something very unique. I'm glad I chose Codeleap over a large corporation as the personable approach resulted in a smooth and pleasant experience.
Working with CodeLeap was a very good experience from both a professional and personal point of view. These people know what they are doing and are both efficient and clever and made a good partner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CodeLeap.
CodeLeap adds so much value and goes above and beyond what I expected. CodeLeap's team is very flexible with all the different requests we've put in front of them. They've also been great with the whole business side of things, and being able to forecast for this industry is really helpful. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with their work — they've been incredibly helpful.
Their flexibility and focus on quality were outstanding.
Marcelo has been wonderful throughout the process and we are very happy.
Absolutely FANTASTIC. This is very much what I had in mind. We're very pleased with your team, thank you all very much.

Usually, yes. Where your system exposes an API we build against it, so nothing gets re-keyed between the new tool and the old one. We've done the equivalent with document tooling: Gemdarr's will platform runs its entire signing and witnessing process through DocuSign. Tell us what your practice runs and we'll confirm exactly what's possible before agreeing a fixed price.
No. We build AI to prepare work, not to advise — it assembles first drafts and summaries, and anything client-facing can be held back for a solicitor's review before it goes out. On MediationX, the mediation assistant's behaviour is driven by prompts the mediators can tune, so the professionals shape how it responds. You set the assistant's remit, and giving legal advice is never in it.
By designing access per matter, not per system. On MediationX, mediators bring each side in through personalised invitation links with password protection, so no one sees a dispute they aren't party to. On Gemdarr's will platform, every executor access request is controlled and reviewed before anything is released. The same rule applies to whatever we build for you: least access by default, and you own the platform, so client data isn't sitting inside someone else's product.
That's exactly the work it suits: documents assembled from structured answers, following rules your firm already applies by hand. A focused, single-process automation starts from £5,000, so an engagement-letter or precedent build doesn't need a platform budget. We scope it, agree a fixed price before anything starts, and the output follows your house style rather than a template.
Yes — we built exactly that kind of service for Gemdarr: will-writing delivered entirely online. We designed and built the platform from scratch — accounts, subscriptions, a guided questionnaire that turns legal requirements into plain questions, and DocuSign signing and witnessing handled end to end — through alpha and beta. A typical build takes around three months, the price is fixed before we start, and the finished platform is yours — code, IP, all of it.
It has to be orchestrated, not bolted on. On Gemdarr's will platform the system invites witnesses into a DocuSign flow, tracks each signature from requested to confirmed to signed, and only completes once everyone has signed — and editing a draft mid-signature safely resets the process. If your documents carry formal execution requirements, we design the flow around those requirements, not around the e-signing tool.
A small, experienced team of designers, engineers and problem-solvers working closely with you from first idea to final delivery.
