Dooit connects people who need a job done — a quick fix, a big project, a one-off task — with professionals and capable locals who bid for the work. CodeLeap designed and built the marketplace app behind it, for iOS and Android, and still runs it.

Our client wanted to make that simple: one place where anyone can describe what they need and get real quotes back quickly, from vetted professionals and skilled locals alike. They partnered with CodeLeap to design and build Dooit — a two-sided marketplace app for iOS and Android that turns a request into competing quotes and a booked job — and CodeLeap has maintained and extended it ever since.

Anyone can describe what they need — a repair, a project, a one-off task — add detail and photos, and send it out to nearby providers straight from their phone, in a flow built for quick, everyday use.

Providers reply with their price and terms, so the person who posted the job sees competing quotes side by side and picks the one that suits them, instead of chasing callbacks and guessing at a fair price.

Messaging, deals and safety
Once a quote looks right, both sides agree the details in the app, keeping the conversation and what was agreed in one place — with reporting and blocking built in to keep the marketplace safe.

Find the right work by location
Providers filter and sort job requests by location, distance, category and keyword, so they see the jobs that are actually relevant to them first, rather than scrolling a long, undifferentiated list.
