A company producing vehicle photography at scale needed every image to look consistent, without checking each one by hand. Over a multi-year engagement, CodeLeap built the capture apps and computer-vision pipeline that standardise, enhance and quality-check every shot automatically.

Studio car photos, anywhere. Our client operates in automotive imaging, producing vehicle photography at a volume where manual checking cannot keep up — every image has to look right before it goes live, and inconsistent framing, stray backgrounds and missed angles were slipping through. They partnered with CodeLeap over several years to build the whole pipeline: mobile apps that guide each shot, computer vision that cleans up and standardises every image, and automated checks so quality no longer depends on someone spotting a problem by eye. The same engagement also produced a second workstream — automated vehicle video generation — written up separately.

Photographers capture each vehicle through iOS and Android apps that guide every shot — angle, framing and coverage — so the source images arrive consistent and complete, rather than being fixed or rejected later.

Computer vision separates each vehicle from its surroundings and drops in a clean, standard backdrop, so every image looks like it belongs to the same set no matter where or how it was shot.

Automated quality control
Every image is checked automatically for framing, missing angles, blur and other defects against a defined standard, so problem shots are flagged for attention instead of quietly reaching a listing.

360-degree turntable spins
Approved images are assembled automatically into interactive 360-degree turntable spins, served through the platform's web media player — giving buyers a richer, more consistent view of each vehicle online with no extra manual editing.
