Workitude
Workitude came to CodeLeap at the idea stage: a mobile app to help people track their working life, leave and wellbeing. Over a few weeks we designed the interface and built a clickable prototype the founder could test with real users before committing to a build.
What we did Designed the UI and built an interactive Figma prototype for Workitude, an employee wellbeing app — the design stage, not the production build.
Wellbeing, by design. Workitude's founder had a clear vision for an employee wellbeing app — leave days, personal insights, a sense of how work is really going — but needed to see and test it before investing in development. She partnered with CodeLeap to turn that vision into something tangible. Working closely over a few weeks, our designers shaped the visual style, laid out the key screens and built an interactive prototype ready to put in front of real users.
What we built
-
Interactive mobile prototype
A fully clickable Figma prototype of the app, with smooth screen-to-screen navigation and subtle page transitions, so the founder could feel how the app would work long before any code was written.
-
Visual design and UI
We explored several visual directions and settled on a brighter, more modern look — logo, colours, splash screen and a consistent screen layout — moving away from the heavy colour blocks that felt dated.
-
Insights and leave screens
We designed the app's insights and leave-days screens, working through how to present personal data clearly and usefully — including a collapsible layout that kept dense information easy to scan.
-
User-testing setup
We set the prototype up for remote usability sessions so the founder could watch how people moved through key journeys, feeding real feedback into the design before development.
Why this matters to you:
You end up with a tangible, testable product before spending on a full build — a prototype real people can react to, so design decisions rest on evidence rather than guesswork. It gave Workitude's founder a clear, credible design to take into user interviews and on towards development.
