Vota

Vota wants football fans, not a single owner, to vote on the decisions that run their club. CodeLeap ran the product design — a briefing to set direction, the app's screens and flows in Figma, and a round of user testing to sharpen them.

What we did Designed the UI and user flows for Vota's fan-voting football app in Figma — a fixed-scope product design engagement, later extended with a user feedback session.

Vota — Mobile app case study Let the fans decide.

Vota is a football venture with an unusual idea: let a club's fans, not one wealthy owner, vote on the decisions that shape their team. Before building it, Vota needed a clear, credible design for the app fans would use — something concrete to test and to show potential members. It came to CodeLeap for a focused design engagement: a briefing session to agree direction, a full interface designed in Figma, and a user feedback session to check the ideas landed.

What we built

  • Design briefing and direction

We ran a briefing session with the client and turned their reference material into a clear visual direction for the app, agreeing the look and feel before any screens were drawn.

  • App screens and user flows

We designed the app's full set of screens in Figma — from the home screen to the match calendar — and mapped the user flows, so the whole product could be seen and understood end to end.

  • Client-led refinement

We worked through several rounds of refinements with the client, shaping each screen around their feedback until the designs were ready to take into development.

  • User feedback session

We ran a structured feedback session on the designs with users and wrote up the findings for the client, so decisions rested on real reactions rather than assumptions.

Why this matters to you:

The engagement turned a rough concept into something Vota could see, test and show others. With the screens and flows designed and validated, the client had a concrete product to take into development and to put in front of potential members — a clear picture of what fan-run football could actually look like.
