Udokk
Udokk is a health and wellbeing platform where creators share video content and people follow, watch and subscribe. CodeLeap designed and built the whole thing — the iOS and Android apps, the web version, the backend and later its subscription monetisation.
What we did CodeLeap designed and built the entire Udokk platform end to end — the iOS and Android apps, the web version and backend, then a subscription-monetisation expansion and ongoing maintenance.
Our client wanted to give health and wellbeing creators a proper home for their video content — somewhere to publish, build an audience and earn, rather than renting space on a general social network. They partnered with CodeLeap to take the idea from design to launch. We ran the UI/UX design, built the iOS and Android apps and the web version, set up the backend and cloud infrastructure, and shipped the product through alpha, beta and public release.
What we built
-
iOS and Android content app
We built the mobile app for both platforms: a home feed, search, video player, creator profiles, follow and topics of interest, plus registration, login and settings — the core surface people use to find and watch content.
-
Private videos and access codes
Creators can keep videos private and share them through access codes, generating, managing and revoking codes as they need. It gives professionals control over who sees which content, without making everything public by default.
-
Web version and cloud backend
Alongside the apps we built the web version — profile creation, editing, uploads and private videos — and stood up the backend on Firebase and Google Cloud, including video upload and playback that holds up with large files.
-
Subscriptions and creator earnings
In a later phase we added monetisation: subscription tiers and premium content, wired up with Stripe Connect and RevenueCat so creators can be paid directly. It turns the platform from a place to publish into a way to earn.
Why this matters to you:
CodeLeap took Udokk from an idea to a live product on iOS, Android and web, then kept building — adding paid subscriptions and maintaining the app month to month. The client got a single team to design, build, launch and look after the whole platform, rather than stitching one together from parts.
