One Place
A UK startup came to CodeLeap to build the app behind its product: one place to plan a group trip or event, pulling travel, accommodation, the agenda, the guest list and every to-do into a single mobile experience for iOS and Android.
What we did CodeLeap designed and built the whole iOS and Android app and backend, and runs its ongoing maintenance and new features.
Planning a trip or event with other people usually means juggling booking emails, spreadsheets, group chats and half a dozen apps, with no single view of who's coming, where everyone's staying or what happens when. Our client set out to fix that with one app that holds the whole plan — travel, accommodation, agenda, guests and to-dos. They partnered with CodeLeap to design and build it end to end, across iOS and Android, and to keep it growing.
What we built
-
Everything in one place
Each event pulls travel, accommodation, an agenda, a guest list and a shared to-do list into one app, so everyone planning the trip works from the same up-to-date view instead of scattered chats and emails.
-
AI-assisted itinerary building
Upload a booking confirmation or document and the app reads it and drops the details into the right tab, so an itinerary fills itself in from the trip's dates rather than being typed in by hand.
-
Simple social sign-in
People sign in with Apple, Google or email in a couple of taps. We kept the flow deliberately short so they get into planning without friction, and handled it cleanly on both iOS and Android.
-
Guest invites and notifications
Organisers invite guests, share an event and keep everyone updated through in-app notifications, so a change to the plan reaches the whole group without starting yet another message thread.
Why this matters to you:
The result is one app that turns the scramble of planning a group trip into a single shared plan everyone can follow. Because CodeLeap built and maintains the whole thing — app, backend and releases — the client can keep adding features and fixing issues as fast as their users ask for them.
