Education app development for edtech founders, schools and training providers — AI assistants, learning platforms and campaign sites. We design for a real classroom, not the demo.
Solutions we've built power teams at:
From AI tools for teachers to programme sites for AWS, four things we build for schools, training providers and edtech founders — shaped by term dates and stretched staff.
Lesson-planning assistants, marking helpers and resource generators that fit how teachers actually work. We redesigned the core pages and refreshed the brand of a UK AI toolset for teachers, and we build tools like it end to end — with human sign-off wherever AI writes anything a pupil sees.
Course delivery, learner progress and cohort management for training providers and edtech founders. Enrolment, content, quizzes and completion certificates in one place, with reporting your tutors and awarding bodies can actually use — built to cope with enrolment-season peaks rather than fall over on them.
Campaign and programme sites for schools, trusts and training providers — launch pages, event sites and outreach campaigns that go live on time and on brand. We design and build them the way we did AWS's community programme sites with events agency Marble LDN: a shared foundation, so each new one launches to the same standard.
Enrolment forms that feed your student records instead of a spreadsheet, automated parent and learner comms, attendance tracking and certificate generation — the repetitive office work that eats staff time between terms. Single-process automations start from £5,000, at a fixed price agreed before we start.
Two education projects plus the closest neighbouring build: a UI and brand redesign for a UK AI teaching toolset; the AWS education campaign sites Girls' Tech Series, CloudRoom and CloudPrep, built on retainer with Marble LDN; and an AI-powered training app that teaches and tests a method across 550+ moves — a learn-and-assess product built the way an education platform is.

The enthusiasm, understanding of our mission, and passion from the first few minutes of the call were the deciding factors in choosing CodeLeap. Within 3 months of our app launching, we had over 1,500 downloads, appeared in leading publications from Forbes, The Metro, Marie Claire, Women's Fitness and many more, and started raising further investment.
They are incredibly diligent in the quality of work they produce, and go above and beyond when it comes to solving issues faced within the project, and to ensure we meet strict project deadlines. You never feel like you are one of many clients, and they ensure they are always there to help with any need you have, no matter how big or small.
CodeLeap made me feel like my options were limitless in terms of what could be achieved, which was critical to me as we were creating something very unique. I'm glad I chose Codeleap over a large corporation as the personable approach resulted in a smooth and pleasant experience.
Working with CodeLeap was a very good experience from both a professional and personal point of view. These people know what they are doing and are both efficient and clever and made a good partner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CodeLeap.
CodeLeap adds so much value and goes above and beyond what I expected. CodeLeap's team is very flexible with all the different requests we've put in front of them. They've also been great with the whole business side of things, and being able to forecast for this industry is really helpful. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with their work — they've been incredibly helpful.
Their flexibility and focus on quality were outstanding.
Marcelo has been wonderful throughout the process and we are very happy.
Absolutely FANTASTIC. This is very much what I had in mind. We're very pleased with your team, thank you all very much.

Yes — integration is usually the first thing we scope. Where your MIS exposes an API or a supported export, we build against it; where it doesn't, aggregators such as Wonde often bridge the gap. We map exactly what data needs to move, and in which direction, before agreeing the fixed price — so the integration is in the quote, not a surprise later. The same goes for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and common LMS platforms.
Carefully, and from the start. Children's data gets extra protection under UK GDPR and the ICO's age-appropriate design code, so we design for data minimisation — collecting only what the tool needs — with clear retention rules and role-based access, and we'll support your DPO on a DPIA where one is needed. We agree where data will be stored before any build starts, so you can show governors and parents exactly where it lives.
Usually, if we start in good time. A typical build takes around three months, so a project kicked off in the spring term can be tested with staff before the summer break and live for the new school year. Education work is seasonal and we plan around it — nobody wants a new platform landing untested in the first week of September.
Both. Our education work so far spans an edtech product — a UI and brand redesign for a UK AI toolset for teachers — and programme websites for AWS, built with events agency Marble LDN. For founders, we scope a first version at a fixed price agreed before work starts; for schools and training providers, we more often automate an admin process or build around the systems you already run.
By building around the workflows teachers already run — planning, marking, reporting — with as few new logins and clicks as possible, and by piloting with a small group of staff before anything rolls out school-wide. Teacher workload is the constraint we design against, not an afterthought. And if an existing product already does the job, we'll tell you — a build you don't need is a bad project for both of us.
Yes — training providers run some of the most automatable admin in education: enrolment forms, joining instructions, attendance registers, completion certificates and renewal reminders. We build automations that connect those steps so a booking flows through to a certificate without re-keying, from £5,000 for a single process. Where you report to an awarding body or funder, we build the export they expect into the system rather than leaving it to a spreadsheet.
A small, experienced team of designers, engineers and problem-solvers working closely with you from first idea to final delivery.
