Energy & utilities

From first lead to signed contract

We automate the sales cycle for energy suppliers and utilities — lead capture, quoting, contracts and CRM. For one UK supplier, that meant 5x lead generation capacity in 3 months.

Solutions we've built power teams at:

  • Amazon Web Services
  • Auto Trader
  • Cedars-Sinai
  • Jet2holidays
  • Jaguar Land Rover
  • Dover Street Market
  • Dexters
  • Lookers

What we build for energy and utilities businesses

Brokers, suppliers and installers run on quotes, contract dates and meter data — and too much of it still moves by hand. These are the four builds we're asked for most.

  • Quoting and pricing engines

Business energy deals tend to go to whoever quotes first. We build engines that turn supplier pricing and a customer's consumption details into an accurate quote in seconds — the step that used to be a manual, error-prone spreadsheet job for the UK supplier whose sales cycle we automated.

  • Renewal and contract-end tracking

Contract end dates are where energy revenue is won or lost. We build systems that hold every customer's end date, open the renewal window on time, generate the new offer and chase the signature — so renewals stop depending on someone remembering a spreadsheet.

  • Apps for surveyors and installers

For teams installing meters, solar, EV chargers or heat pumps, we build mobile apps that capture site surveys, photos and sign-off on the doorstep — working offline where coverage is poor and syncing to the office the moment it isn't.

  • Meter and consumption dashboards

Half-hourly and smart meter data is only useful once someone can read it. We build dashboards that turn raw consumption feeds into usage, cost and anomaly views your team and your customers can act on — and that flag bills that don't match the meter.

Our energy work

One energy engagement written up so far — and it carries the strongest number on our site: we automated a UK energy supplier's full sales cycle, from lead capture to signed contract, and their lead-generation capacity grew 5x in 3 months. Around it, the closest neighbouring work — NicheCom's iPad app for drawing measured plans on site, the kind of field tool a surveyor or installer uses, and a contract-and-invoicing automation joining a sales pipeline, e-signing and accounts end to end.

  • SBU

CodeLeap automated the full sales cycle for a client in the UK energy sector, from lead capture through to signed contract, increasing lead generation capacity by 5x in 3 months.

Everything you might want to know before starting a project with us.

  • Yes — it's the energy work we know best. One UK supplier asked us to automate their whole sales cycle: enquiries captured and deduplicated from every channel, quotes generated from live pricing in seconds, signed contracts moving themselves into fulfilment. Within three months they were generating five times the qualified leads with the same team. A single scoped automation starts from £5,000, with a fixed price agreed before any work begins.

  • No. That sales-cycle automation was built inside the client's existing CRM — leads, quotes and contracts all write back to the system the team already lives in, with no double entry and no new tool to learn. We would rather connect the software you have than sell you a migration; switching platforms mid-sales-cycle is a disruption most energy teams don't need.

  • Yes. Consumption data usually arrives as unwieldy exports and feeds, so we build the plumbing that pulls it in, validates it and turns it into something usable — usage and cost dashboards, anomaly alerts, or clean inputs to your quoting. And if a tool you already run handles this well, we'll tell you to keep it; we only build where the off-the-shelf option genuinely falls short.

  • Yes. A renewal engine holds every customer's contract end date, wakes up when the renewal window opens, generates the new offer and follows up until it's signed or declined — with everything logged, so you can see which renewals are running themselves and which need a human call. A build like this typically takes around three months from design to launch, and the price is fixed before we start.

  • Yes. We build survey and job apps for field teams: forms, photos and customer sign-off captured on site, offline support for plots without signal, and automatic sync back to your scheduling and invoicing once the engineer is in coverage. You own the code and IP outright, so the app grows with your business instead of being tied to a per-seat licence.

  • We build audit trails in from the start: who quoted what, when consent was captured, which version of a contract was signed. We're not compliance consultants and won't pretend to be, but we will build your process so the evidence your regulator or supplier partners ask for is a report, not an archaeology dig. We've built for UK businesses since 2019 — 50+ projects, rated 4.9 on Clutch.
