What we build for sports, events and leisure businesses

Clubs, organisers and activity brands run on bookings, fixtures and busy weekends — we build the systems around them, consumer apps at the front and automation behind the scenes.

  • Sports and fitness apps

We design, build and maintain consumer sports apps end to end. As Skamper's ongoing product team we ship the app, its backend and its website through steady monthly releases — GPS run tracking, race time predictions and a route library runners trust, on iOS and Android.

  • Exhibitor sales and invoicing

Selling stands and exhibition space means contracts, deals and invoices moving between systems by hand. For a media group running exhibitions across the UK and US we connected Pipedrive, SmartDocs and Xero, replacing around 500 invoices a month that finance typed themselves.

  • Bookings and memberships

We build booking and membership systems shaped to how you actually sell — classes, courts, sessions or seasons. Online booking, renewals, waitlists and payment collection sit in one place, so your front desk stops juggling a diary, a spreadsheet and a card machine.

  • Fan engagement and voting

When you want supporters involved in real decisions, the product has to feel credible before you build it. For Vota, a football venture where fans vote on their club's decisions, we designed the full app in Figma and tested the flows with users.

Sports, events and leisure work

Three builds from this sector: Skamper's running app with thousands of verified routes, GPS and voice coaching and on-demand races; the designed-and-tested flows for Vota's fan-voting football app; and end-to-end sales automation for a media group running exhibitions and events across the UK and US — contract detection through to automatic invoicing. One consumer app at scale, one design engagement, one automation behind the scenes.

  • CRM & sales automation

CodeLeap automated contract management, sales pipelines and invoicing for a media group running exhibitions and events across the UK and US — replacing around 500 invoices a month raised by hand.

Everything you might want to know before starting a project with us.

  • Yes — it's work we do continuously. We act as the product team for Skamper, a UK running app: verified routes across Britain, GPS tracking with voice coaching, on-demand races and leaderboards, shipped through monthly releases on iOS and Android. A first version of a consumer sports app typically takes around three months, we agree a fixed price before work starts, and the code is yours.

  • Yes. For a media group running exhibitions and events across the UK and US we connected Pipedrive, SmartDocs and Xero: a signed contract updates its deal automatically, deal cards are pre-filled from the contract document, and around 500 invoices a month are now drafted from deal data instead of typed by hand. The automation sits inside the tools the team already used — nobody changed systems.

  • Usually, yes. A typical build takes around three months, so the sensible move is to start in your quiet period and launch before the calendar fills up. We agree the scope, fixed price and timeline before any work begins, so you know whether the system lands ahead of your season rather than in the middle of it. If the dates genuinely don't work, we'll say so upfront.

  • That's normally the whole point. Most events and leisure businesses already have tools that do their individual jobs — the manual gaps between them are the problem. Where a platform has an API we can connect it, as we did joining Pipedrive, SmartDocs and Xero for an events client. We check each tool's API during scoping, before we quote, so the integration you're paying for is one we know is possible.

  • Yes. Vota came to us with a concept — football fans voting on their club's real decisions — and we ran a fixed-scope design engagement: a briefing to set direction, the full set of screens and flows in Figma, and a user feedback session to check the ideas landed. You leave with designs you own and can take into development, with us or with anyone else.

  • Projects start from £5,000. A focused booking or membership system for a single site usually sits at the lower end; a consumer app or a multi-venue platform costs more. Whatever the scope, we agree a fixed price before any work starts. And if an off-the-shelf booking tool already fits the way you operate, we'll tell you to use that instead of paying us to rebuild it.
